Last week, Dr. Kremer and I toured Sumner Academy and Wyandotte High School, and spoke with principals and administration from both locations about opportunities for our two institutions to extend collaborations even further to provide students more opportunities to take aligned coursework in programs from their high school curriculum to KCKCC curriculum.
Along with discussing opportunities for high school to college program alignment, we also had great initial conversations regarding working together to provide new opportunities to offer KCKCC classes in downtown KCK.
While additional conversations still need to take place, I am very enthusiastic about the openness to collaborate and the enthusiasm shown by everyone involved!
