Last Fall, KCKCC elected to change its quality assurance rubric model from Quality Matters, Inc. to another model that might better fit our institution. Through our collaboration with the Kansas City Regional Access Consortium for Higher Education (KCREACHE) we began the process of moving to the Open SUNY Course Quality Review (OSCQR) rubric. The Online Learning Consortium, OLC, is sponsoring an overview webinar of the SUNY OSCQR rubric on May 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. We will be hosting a viewing session in room 2152.

THE OSCQR RUBRIC: COURSE QUALITY REVIEW
Through a partnership with the State University of New York, OLC is able to provide the OSCQR Course Design Review scorecard. Based on online best practices, the rubric can be used by faculty, staff and instructional designers to evaluate the effectiveness of an online course and identify areas of opportunity.
This session will include:
- An overview of the partnership
- The resources available through the OLC
- Case study examples from institutions that have used OSCQR
