The newest Blackboard features is the ability to drag and drop attachments to your Blackboard assignments, discussions, and item pages. You can add files, images, audio, and video when you create content in your course. For example, in discussions, you can browse for a media clip from your computer or your course’s file repository, or the Content Collection.
Within these tools located in your Blackboard course, notice the new dotted line box around in the Attachments area. This is commonly called the “hot spot” area.
Clicking and dragging a document or graphic, audio, or video file from your computer to this hot spot will highlight the inside of the box. Once this box is highlighted, release the mouse button to add the document to your Blackboard content area.
This new feature will allow you more flexibility and creative control over your course content.
