Tegrity for Students

View your instructor’s Tegrity recordings

You can view your instructor’s recordings in Tegrity by following the provided link that’s available in your Blackboard course.
1. Locate the Tegrity Classes link from the course menu. Tegrity Classes course menu link
2. A new tab or window will open and you will see the Tegrity interface for your class. On this page, you will see a list of recordings that your instructor has created and uploaded.Tegrity page with listed recordings
3. Clicking on a recording name will reveal a video thumbnail. Click the video thumbnail to view the recording.Tegrity item expanded
4. You will now be able to watch your instructor’s video recording on the Tegrity Viewer page.Tegrity viewer page
A. My Account provides a code to tie your mobile device to your Tegrity account, allowing mobile access to course recordings.
B. The Instructional Window will display one of the following:
– Capture of desktop (i.e. Power Point presentations, video files, etc.)
– Capture of video source (external camera)
– Tegrity Annotations
C. The Instructor Window will display one of the following:
– Video from webcam or similar video device.  Typically video of instructor.
– Custom image specified by instructor
– Default Tegrity icon
D. Bookmark and Notes will display bookmarks and notes added from “Tegrity Notes”.
E. Timeline and Player Controls

– Rewind for 30 seconds
– Play/Pause
– Volume Slider
– Playback Speed
F. Viewer Options
(From left to right)
– Access Help
– Show Chapters
– Download Recording
– Print

 

Tegrity for Mobile Devices

Tegrity allows you to watch class recordings right from your iOS or Android mobile phone.

1. Download the Tegrity app from the App Store for iOS devices or the Play Store for Android devices.

2. When you open the Tegrity Mobile app for the first time, you will be asked for a connection code.

How to get the Tegrity connection code:

Tegrity connection codeLog in to Tegrity like you normally do using a web browser and click on My Account (upper-right corner). Click Generate Code.
